Right on. There's no better way to learn than by teaching. Just the process of trying to work out a good way to explain something has a wonderful way of clarifying your own thoughts about it.

Every other week I have to teach an advanced estate planning class to the financial planners in my office.

The topics I have taught others are the ones I understand the best.

Great Post

My dad was a professor at a local junior college, and always told me that the best way to learn something better is to teach it. He was actually working towards his master's degree at the same time as he was teaching, and some of the classes overlapped. He did very, very well in those classes, not because he knew the material, but also because the students had different perspectives and shared those in class, and he was able to really wrap his mind around whatever subject that happened to be.

Great post! and double the props for the Star Wars references... :-P

Jason/Bible Money Matters,

Yes.....It's wild.......Had any of us waited to be given permission to teach or write......our blogs wouldn't be out there. The fact that they continue to exist means SOMEBODY is getting value. Hence, even though none of us have all the knowledge we'd like to have....it doesn't mean that the knowledge we DO have can't help others.

Thanks my friends.
