I’ll admit it. I love Christmas. I mean…I LOVE it. The lights. The music. The gifts. Everyone in a good mood. And let’s not forget the free-flowing chocolate. What’s not to love?
You may already know that I don’t celebrate Christmas, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying it. I can’t understand why some folks get upset when people wish each other a Merry Christmas. If anyone gets in your face this holiday season, just tell them you got special permission from ole Pilgrim Boy himself to party up and have a wonderful Christmas. Merry Christmas from me to you.

Yeah, Christmas is one of the best holidays throughout the year. I like it even more than my birthday.
I had the privilege of meeting Rabbi Daniel Lapin many years ago, who works to find common cause between Christians and Jews.
He is a defender of Christmas and has fought to keep it from becoming secularized.
Well Neal, it’s funny you say this.
Over the years it occurred to me that the bulk of the great Christmas songs were written by Jews. A nice article discussing this appears at http://tinyurl.com/27a23ey .
Next, it’s one of those rare times that the very thing your neighbor does benefits you more that them. Our next door neighbor’s house glows bright at the sun every night. When she asked apologetically if it disturbed us kept us up at night, I laughed. Our bedrooms are toward the back of the house, I told her “We have a great view every night, better than you.”
Be well, Happy New Year
Funny, My son (who’s three) was saying we need to get an X-mas tree. He doesn’t quite get why not. And when you really think about it there may not be a great reason.
Awesome! We have Landsman Bloggers! Yes..
I don’t have a tree but I love visiting my friends who do. I’ll spend X Mas in Shul — it’s Saturday after all. But Saturday night I’ll be hoisting some Egg Nogg. Here’s to a wonderful holiday!
Happy holidays young buck!
I love your attitude about Christmas! I don’t like the commercialism, but I love every other aspect. Thanks for the link, btw!
