“Get Rich Slowly” Readers…Welcome!

I’m fortunate to be among the seven candidates being considered to be a regular contributor over at Get Rich Slowly.

It’s an amazing honor to compete with the other six writers. I don’t know about you, but I’ve really enjoyed all the articles posted so far. I promise to do my best to give you as much value as I can as I post my entries and to continue doing so if I am fortunate enough to be selected to join J.D.

If so, here are a few ways to help you get the most value from your visit:

1. Read “Homeless to Homeowner – How I Did It.” This is my story. It will explain why my vantage point is different from most writers and advisers.

2. Read a few of the “most popular” posts.  The common theme is that I won’t write an article unless I think it has a useful “takeaway” benefit for you.

3. I believe in financial serenity. I believe that we can do a lot to improve our financial situation – I’ve been helping people do that for 25 years. Having said that, I also believe that we can all learn how to accept certain realities that are beyond our control. That doesn’t mean we have to be miserable. Quite the contrary. I believe we can do the best we can and then be at peace with our financial situation no matter what.

4. Make sure you stay up-to-date by subscribing (100% free) through either an RSS reader or by e-mail. This will keep you up-to-date, and quite frankly, it will help me too.  I learn a tremendous amount from readers like you, so please chime in.
