Nice to hear your daughter is adjusting well to college life. I remember my first days of college — I wasn’t exactly that comfortable about it (new school, new country…). It will certainly be a while before I’m in your shoes though!

Good luck missing the little Pilgrim. At the moment you guys probably miss her more than she misses you, and that’s hard to take. But nothing beats having that in your parents – as you say, it’s how it should be – and FWIW I’m sure appreciates that and will only do so more in years to come.
