Thank you so much for these great tips. Ever since I have filed for bankruptcy, I am always looking for ways to save, and to make ends meet with the budget that I have set for myself. I now know how important it is to comparison shop and to make sure that you use the coupons also. Thanks again.

I have used the Groupon like site, Eversave. I’m sure it operates in much the same way, but I was able to get $18 worth of merchandise for $1! It was great but honestly, I didn’t need the goods and ended up spending a bit more because I didn’t account for shipping. I think we all still need to be aware of impulse buys. If you don’t need the goods, even if it’s a great deal, you shouldn’t partake.

The newspaper can have some nifty coupons, but I find that generally the best deals are found online on coupon sites such as restaurant.com. Groupons are a new thing that are saving people lots of cash, so thanks to linking to some new groupon sites.

I have used Restaurant.com before to get $25 gift certificates for $2! I think it’s a great deal and hope that more restaurants sign up!

I think it is a great idea to post this. Most people will eat out even if it doesn’t fit into their budget, so showing them how to do it for less will be beneficial.

I do understand where you are coming from, Neal – sometimes coupons will encourage people to buy something that they didn’t plan to – so it’s a tough call. But, since people are usually undisciplined in this area, it’s best to show them how to save.
