Thanks for your honesty and humility!
I stopped by the Mazda dealer on my birthday thinking of possibly trading my gas guzzling 2010CX7 Turbo with the good intentions of saving big on monthly payments, no premium gas and better milage. I did no research, spent hours until I was worn down to a pulp, and got a car that I'm hating (I got cloth seats thinking they would be cooler than the black leather I had previously, little did I know they are the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in). If I could afford the massive loss I would trade it tomorrow.

Next time I will get every fact before going into the lion's den!

I'm really trying to accept the fact that I may have an uncomfortable ride for a while, but I am still working on forgiving myself as I tortured myself for days! I feltr like an immense idiot!

Ah, sunk costs. Situations like this are almost tailor-made to trip us up.

We can understand intellectually that what happened in the past shouldn't affect what we do or don't do now.

But emotionally? It's nearly impossible to say "Ah well, twenty grand gone. Let's just forget about that and move on."
