Weekend Links – “Survey Says” Edition
By admin on Sep 18, 2009 in Financial Serentity
Would you like to help shape the future of Wealth Pilgrim?
Would you like to force me to crack open my wallet and donate up to $100 to the American Cancer Society ?
Would you like a free white paper explaining how to avoid hiring the next Bernie Madoff?
Would you like a chance at winning a free copy of my book?
Good news! You can do all these things by simply taking 60 seconds to complete this survey.
I’m asking you to complete this anonymous survey so I can make this blog as responsive to your needs as possible.
I was going to close the survey but decided to keep it open a few more days since we’ve had a flood of new readers lately. Once you compete it, shoot me an email and tell me you did so. This way, I’ll send you my free white paper “How to Avoid Hiring the Next Bernie Madoff”. I’ll also enter you into the contest to win a free copy of my book,”Why Smart People Lose A Fortune”. As I said, I’m donating $1 for every survey completed (up to $100) and so far we have about 40 so don’t let me slide by without sending the American Cancer Society that crisp C note!
My email address is nfranke AT pacbell DOT net. (Replace the AT with “@” and DOT with “.”. If you have completed the survey but haven’t received your white paper, please let me know and I’ll send it right away. Thanks!
On to the weekend links!
The Pilgrim Pick of the Pack award was a tough call this week. I’ve narrowed it down to the two bloggers who made the greatest contributions to mankind over the last 7 days:
First, my friend Mike at Oblivious Investor has decided to give away free downloads of his new book Investing Made Simple. This is a follow up to the book he released several months ago which I had the pleasure of reviewing. Mike is a fantastic writer and really knows how to boil the subject down so we can understand and learn. Please go download a copy of his book now for free by clicking here. He is going to pull that offer once the book becomes available on Amazon on 10/1 so please hurry.
The second recipient of the Pilgrim Weekly Award goes to David at MoneyNing. I’ve heard of people working hard to get my award but this is too much….even for me. Read about David’s Big Announcement.
Congratulations to you both! On to the other worthy reads for the weekend:

Neal, I’m here on rogue link patrol again.
The link to David’s article currently repeats the link to the MLM article!

Thanks for the link Neal. That article took a lot of work, but it was worth it. I’ve seen a lot of MLM scams, and I’ve seen more than a few people burned (on the flip side, I have a few friends who have done very well with MLM).
