Weekly Roundup -”Bob Marley Edition”

Is it possible to listen to reggae music without feeling a little happier?  I find that it always works for me, “mon”.

I bring this up because summer is winding down.  You might find yourself a bit low as a result.  If that’s the case, just dust off those old Bob Marley records, put on those dreadlocks (I know you have them in the back of your closet) and rock it.

Just in case you need a little encouragement, here’s a quick video that might help.

    My parents were brought up during the “Great Depression”. This means that when I was seeking employment there was strong encouragement to seek employment with the government because of job security. I have therefore spent most my working life as a government employee, which has turned out to be expensive in two way. One limited work opportunities and experiences that government employees have, and a much lower income than what is experienced in private enterprise. It will be interesting if this mindset by parents will be established again for the next generation.
