Best of Money Carnival #3 – Rolling Stones Edition
By admin on Jun 14, 2009 in Financial Serentity
Welcome to the 3rd edition of the Best of Money Carnival – Rolling Stones Edition. Since this is one of the best carnivals on the internet, I thought it would only be fitting to dedicate this week’s edition to the world’s best rock and roll band…the Rolling Stones!
I’m delighted and honored to be hosting this week. Free Money Finance created this carnival and I believe it is a tremendous gift to readers. Best of Money Carvinal only brings you the top 10 personal finance posts each week.
It’s very difficult to select only 10 articles from the hundreds of submissions I received. I learned a great deal simply by reviewing each of the entries. Thanks for all the great posts.
Without further delay, here are your top 10 Personal Finance posts of the week:
#10 Budgets Are Sexy wrote a piece reminding us that we can save more money if we focus on the big things. Very Hot Stuff!
#9 Bible Money Matters wrote about keeping on a budget even when things are going well. This was so good that Wild Horses couldn’t drag me away from reading it.
#8 It’s not Just My Imagination….Tyler figured out how to invest green and shows us how to do it ourselves.
#7 Man Vs Debt provided an interesting twist when he reported on things we’d pay more for -even during difficult times. Jumpin’ Jack Flash!
#6 Jim at Bargaineering had some very timely investing advice for recent college graduates. This article really Starts Me Up!
#5 Money Ning discusses the virtue of CD’s – even in a low-interest rate environment. I’d sure prefer it if CD’s paid higher interest rates but then again…. You Can’t Always Get What You Want.
#4 If you’re a Midnight Rambler, Patrick over at Cash Money Life instructs you on the best zero percent balance transfer credit card offers.
#3 Do you like to Paint it Black? Try Helen’s nifty article and retirement planning estimator.
#2 Do you ever get Shattered when you see your utility bill? Five Cent Nickel explains how to use rain barrels to save the environment and your cash.
#1 Looking for Satisfaction? Free Money Finance gives the best advice possible for individuals still in high school or college.
Congratulations to the top ten! I know you’ll enjoy reviewing these fine articles.
